Erin Thurston is an Account Manager at HCG specializing in earned media efforts. Thurston brings HCG a wealth of experience including event coordination, media outreach and community relations.
Prior to joining HCG, Thurston served as a Legislative Correspondent for U.S. Rep. Jay Inslee of Washington State who sits on the powerful Energy and Commerce Committee. She effectively managed a broad range of issues including government, banking, housing, health care, and judiciary.
HCG clients benefit from Thurston's depth of knowledge gained from working on various public affairs initiatives and political campaigns at the local, state and federal level. Thurston has overseen endorsements, fundraisers and political and media events for campaigns and elected officials. She also worked in the Washington State Senate as a member of the Democratic communications team for two sessions and managed a successful Seattle City Council campaign.
Thurston has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communications from the University of Washington.
