Erica Hiar is an Account Executive at HCG specializing in grassroots mobilization, third-party outreach and coalition building.
Hiar is an accomplished organizer who ran offices in Michigan and North Carolina for President Obama's campaign assisting in building coalitions and directly managed over 100 volunteers.
HCG clients benefit from Hiar's work with numerous community health centers, state and local governments, and non-profits to organize and manage special events and forums. She has experience with both state and federal policy issues focusing on health care policy.
On President Obama's campaign, Hiar organized voter contact. She also helped local, state, and federal Democrats coordinate a comprehensive get-out-the-vote operation.
Before joining the Obama campaign, Hiar was a Government Affairs Intern with Boston Scientifics' Government Affairs Office in Washington, D.C. While in college, Hiar interned with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Hiar earned a B.A. in Government and Law and a minor in Environmental Science from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania.
